It is intended primarily e a text in a fiat course on simulation or to be for selfstudy, However, many of the later chopters could be incorporated ints an advanced course. Included with the book is a CD containing the Arena academic software and the examples referenced throughout the text

Building on the success of the first two editions, published in 1998 and 2002, this edidiori retains the basic outline and tutorial style, built around a sequence of successively more complicated examples. All the examples and discussion, however, have been updated to be consistent with the current version of the Arena software, As before a website for instructors provides complete support in terms of downloadable lecture slides and solution to end of chapter exercises
